Cigars Return Policy
Returns for 15 Cigars or More
For cigars purchased in a box, bundle, or sampler of 15 or more, we allow a 2-stick allowance—meaning you may keep up to 2 cigars while returning the rest to receive full merchandise credit. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase. Credit will be issued after the returned cigars are inspected by a Famous Smoke Shop employee. Prorated Refunds/Credits are no longer available.
Returns for 14 Cigars or Less
For purchases of 14 cigars or fewer—including boxes, bundles, samplers, 5-packs, 10-packs, and 3-packs—a 1-stick allowance applies. The remaining cigars must be returned within 30 days of purchase to receive full merchandise credit. Credit will be issued after inspection by a Famous Smoke Shop employee. Prorated Refunds/Credits are no longer available.
Single Cigar Returns
- Single cigars must be returned whole and unaltered within 30 days of purchase to qualify for a refund.
- Cut, lit, or cigars that have been placed in the mouth are not eligible for return or refund.
- Prorated Refunds/Credits are no longer available.
Important Note on Promotional Items
If your order included a promotional item, it must also be returned. Failure to return the promotional item will result in a charge for its full retail price.
Pipe Tobacco Return Policy
If your tobacco does not meet quality standards or is incorrect, please contact us immediately. Only unopened containers are eligible for return within 30 days of receiving your order. Exceptions apply to damaged or defective products. Prorated Refunds/Credits are no longer available. Prorated Refunds/Credits are no longer available.
Lighters Return Policy
- Lighters must be returned empty—without butane. For safety reasons, any lighter returned with fuel will not be accepted.
- Xikar lighters must be returned directly to the vendor. Please refer to the Xikar website for warranty details and return instructions.
Humidor Return Policy
- If a humidor is not damaged and you wish to return it, it must not be seasoned prior to return.
- Seasoned humidors are non-returnable due to the integrity of the product and our inability to resell it.
All Other Merchandise
For items other than cigars, pipe tobacco, lighters, or humidors, returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for an exchange, credit, or refund. Items must be in new condition and in their original packaging, unless they are defective or damaged. Processing returns typically takes 3-10 business days from the date we receive the return.
Additional Return Guidelines
- Any "dollar off" or "percentage off" coupons used in the purchase will be prorated based on the value of returned items.
- If your order included a free promotional item, it must be returned with the original order to receive full credit.
- Cut, lit, or smoked cigars are not eligible for return or refund.
- Bonus items must be returned with the order to avoid additional charges.
Refund of Original Shipping Charges
Your original shipping fee will be refunded only if:
- The item is defective
- We shipped the wrong item
- The item was damaged in transit
